ZHANG Hongfei is responsible for the international cooperation and exchange of the top think tank- Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC). He graduated with a master degree on Public Administration at Renmin University in 2011. Before that, he gained his bachelor degree on International Finance from Beijing Foreign Studies University in 2005.
He joined DRC in 2005 and has worked in the center over 10 years. He has been engaged in the major events on international cooperation of his center. In the past 3 years, he has worked as the chief coordinator for the Silk Road Think Tank Network (SiLKS), which has 54 members and partners. The SiLKS was included in List of Deliverables at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in the past May 2017. He is engaged in the early preparation of the China Center for International Knowledge on Development announced President Xi Jinping at the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit on 26 September 2015 and launched on August 21, 2015.
From July to December 2008, he studies in Bonn, Germany in the Managing Global Governance organized by German Development Institute and GIZ.
