Clara Péron is the founder and managing director of Value for Good, a specialized consulting company that leverages the methods and tools of top management consulting for social good. As a dual German and Canadian citizen, Clara has lived and worked internationally - with longer postings in India, Cambodia, Egypt, Ukraine the US and Germany. After completing her B.A. at McGill University, Clara started her career in 2002 in the Canadian foreign service. She served at the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi and was a refugee interviewing officer in East Africa (Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti). Clara subsequently returned to academia, completing a Master's in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School from 2006 to 2008, during which time she also advised an impact investor on agribusiness opportunities in Cambodia. From 2008 onwards, she worked as a strategy consultant for the Boston Consulting Group's Berlin office. There she gained experience advising companies across a wide range of industries, including fashion and food retail, healthcare, banking, insurance and mining. Since founding Value for Good in 2014, Clara has developed one of the rising stars of social impact and sustainability consulting in Europe - the company's growing team has advised multinational corporations, the largest humanitarian agency, the largest private foundation, German government agencies and ministries, to mention but a few achievements. In her free time, besides travelling and exploring the world, Clara advises social entrepreneurs, enjoys mentoring various young people and is an active board member of the Harvard Alumni Club of Berlin.
