Raphael Kohler is strategy consultant at BCG Berlin where he advises large corporates on business topics like digitalization, process efficiency and regulatory compliance. He has multiple years of experience in project management, financial reporting and quantitative assessment - including its implementation in IT infrastructure. At the intersection of business and IT, he is particularly interested in the strategy and feasibility of new technologies, e.g., analytics, cybersecurity and IoT and their implications on data security and privacy. Raphael acquired a German diploma in mathematics at Technical University of Kaiserslautern with specialization on finance and statistics and completed an exchange program at National University of Singapore. To get a better understanding of China's culture, he studied Chinese language at Nankai University Tianjin and China's economy at Renmin University Beijing. Raphael was awarded scholarships by Foundation of German Business and China Scholarship Council. Raphael acted as Chairman of the alumni organization sdw Alumni e.V. dedicated to >2.300 members. Today, he serves as Vice Chairman of the German Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence and as Senior Advisor of the Association of Chinese Professionals in Finance. He is fluent in Chinese (passed HSK level 5 of 6) and was selected for the German-Chinese Student Dialogue and EU-China Year of Youth Opening Ceremony before.
